With a little luck, Serenisimos FC's Edgard Eguen got control of the ball when Damaso Ofelio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luxcar F.C's Felipe Aguilera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Harriet in the 16th minute of play. In the 23rd minute Celestino Harriet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Aguilera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Montrell in the 26th minute of play forced Luxcar F.C's goalkeeper Felipe Aguilera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eduardo Montrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Felipe Aguilera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ermegildo Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Eguen having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ermegildo Vidal in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgard Eguen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ermegildo Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Eguen having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Ermegildo Vidal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felipe Aguilera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celestino Harriet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

If Damaso Ofelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Serenisimos FC! The referee gave Luxcar F.C a penalty, 75 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Humberto Raymundo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Serenisimos FC's Edgard Eguen. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermegildo Vidal in the 82nd minute of play forced Serenisimos FC's goalkeeper Edgard Eguen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the game, one of Luxcar F.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Felipe Aguilera, was totally fooled by Serenisimos FC's Lorenzo Paz, who 91 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Eduardo Montrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Felipe Aguilera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Damaso Ofelio came up free with the goalie in the 100th minute, the Luxcar F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damaso Ofelio couldn't finish the play. Luxcar F.C's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
