The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Joe Nicoll got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 10 minutes into the game, Gervasio Oinatz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Felipe Aguilera. Gervasio Oinatz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Joe Nicoll fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Aguilera having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Gervasio Oinatz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felipe Aguilera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervasio Oinatz in the 34th minute of the match. Felipe Aguilera was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Artemio Silvino capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Artemio Silvino really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Gervasio Oinatz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Felipe Aguilera. That made the score 3-0 in the 42 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gervasio Oinatz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Gervasio Oinatz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nebraska United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gervasio Oinatz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Gervasio Oinatz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nebraska United's supporters rose to their feet, but Gervasio Oinatz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felipe Aguilera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 57 minutes into the game, Tadeo Osorio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Luxcar F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nebraska United the free kick. After 57 played minutes Luxcar F.C got a freekick which was hit by Tadeo Osorio. 59 minutes into the match, Gervasio Oinatz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felipe Aguilera. Luxcar F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gervasio Oinatz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Felipe Aguilera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gervasio Oinatz's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Janos Arnet blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felipe Aguilera having to make a save. 78 minutes into the game, Gervasio Oinatz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Felipe Aguilera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joe Nicoll struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Felipe Aguilera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nebraska United. Gervasio Oinatz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nebraska United walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
