The crowd rose to their feet as Hristiyan Mandaliev kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gaudencio Oihan. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. If Nunez Mikolas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaudencio Oihan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nunez Mikolas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Catuna FC booed when Irremontable was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Fidele didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaudencio Oihan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nunez Mikolas, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bartolo Francho to make the kick off. Arnaldo Barea might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cleto Pero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arnaldo Barea ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 55th minute, Nunez Mikolas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Irremontable fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Nunez Mikolas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mateo Ikatz's late challenge caught a Irremontable's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mateo Ikatz helped the player get up and apologised. When Nunez Mikolas came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Irremontable fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nunez Mikolas couldn't finish the play. After having played for 68 minutes, Nunez Mikolas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Irremontable's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nunez Mikolas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hristiyan Mandaliev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaudencio Oihan having to interfere. 78 minutes into the game, Irremontable's Nunez Mikolas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gaudencio Oihan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Hristiyan Mandaliev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaston Panpili during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Hristiyan Mandaliev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hristiyan Mandaliev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Gaudencio Oihan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mateo Ikatz hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match.
