In the 19thth minute of the game Zeledon Pepillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Docta FC's Roque Mingo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcial Ponciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the game, Honorio Rubio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Luco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Docta FC the free kick. Honorio Rubio hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baldomiro Urdaspal got free with Roque Mingo in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 35th minute, Wilfredo Truylos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 37 minutes into the game, Ciro Vedillo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Docta FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Luco the free kick. In the 37th minute, Ciro Vedillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baldomiro Urdaspal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roque Mingo having to interfere. If Marcial Ponciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Wilfredo Truylos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enzo Theobald was relentless in the 46th minute of the game.

Enzo Theobald took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcial Ponciano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Wilfredo Truylos came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the La Docta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilfredo Truylos couldn't finish the play. Zeledon Pepillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilfredo Truylos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Marcial Ponciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 65 minutes, Honorio Rubio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorio Rubio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of La Docta FC booed when Luco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Escobar didn't get a good kick on the ball. La Docta FC's Anier Fonda couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 70th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Luco. Melchor Escobar kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. With an all-out effort, La Docta FC's Enzo Theobald threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marcial Ponciano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Pepillo in the 77th minute of play forced La Docta FC's goalkeeper Roque Mingo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baldomiro Urdaspal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Roque Mingo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
