ANGELES XENEIZES's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, ANGELES XENEIZES's Niceto Estevez got a free kick in the 19th minute. Marciano Ibañez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Niceto Estevez hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Faustino Ferrando managed to get in a good position for a shot. ANGELES XENEIZES's supporters rose to their feet, but Faustino Ferrando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marciano Ibañez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Augusto Claris charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Augusto Claris the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th minute, Augusto Claris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Isaias Nerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melchor Valente made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Isaias Nerio sent off a good shot on target. After 45 minutes, Niceto Estevez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ANGELES XENEIZES and the RED DEVILS FOOTBALL CLUB players grew even worse after the yellow card. Niceto Estevez kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Isaias Nerio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Niceto Estevez was shown his second yellow card after 47 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evaristo Iyan to make the kick off. The supporters of RED DEVILS FOOTBALL CLUB booed when ANGELES XENEIZES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Abadia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marciano Ibañez having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in RED DEVILS FOOTBALL CLUB's zone, Faustino Ferrando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marciano Ibañez came out of the goal and Faustino Ferrando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 75 minutes, Severo Abadia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ANGELES XENEIZES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severo Abadia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, RED DEVILS FOOTBALL CLUB's Marciano Ibañez got control of the ball when Faustino Ferrando tried to sneak it across the goal line. ANGELES XENEIZES played a much better game than RED DEVILS FOOTBALL CLUB and deserved their victory. The RED DEVILS FOOTBALL CLUB players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
