Spectators: 6655 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 0) Zeledon Pepillo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zeledon Pepillo in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgardo Heli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Wales Baby booed when Luco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Hori didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baldomiro Urdaspal who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Edgardo Heli when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The attack was good, but when Zeledon Pepillo in the 23rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When Leonardo Tabby came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Wales Baby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo Tabby couldn't finish the play. Maximino Senin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Enzo Theobald tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Leonardo Tabby came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Wales Baby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo Tabby couldn't finish the play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 36 minutes into the game, when Filomeno Blasi put in a rough tackle. In the 35th minute, one of Luco:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Luco. Maximino Senin struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Enzo Theobald didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wales Baby. In the 46th minute, Leonardo Tabby ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enzo Theobald was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After the first half Wales Baby were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonardo Tabby made a kick off. If Leonardo Tabby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Felipe Gartzi took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Enzo Theobald to make any attempt to save it. Wales Baby's Maximino Senin got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Luco's zone, Leonardo Tabby stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enzo Theobald came out of the goal and Leonardo Tabby tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enzo Theobald took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Tabby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Luco's zone, Leonardo Tabby stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enzo Theobald came out of the goal and Leonardo Tabby tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edgardo Heli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baldomiro Urdaspal went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Maximino Senins short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Enzo Theobald to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 93 minutes into the match, Maximino Senin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enzo Theobald. Luco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximino Senin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Wales Baby's Maximino Senin got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wales Baby's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
