The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Augusto Claris was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ANGELES XENEIZES's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Docta FC the free kick. Augusto Claris kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. When Marcial Ponciano came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the La Docta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcial Ponciano couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Faustino Ferrando got free with Roque Mingo in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 9th minute of the match ANGELES XENEIZES got a corner. La Docta FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Niceto Estevez ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 11th minute, ANGELES XENEIZES's Faustino Ferrando ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Roque Mingo. Roque Mingo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 16th minute Severo Abadia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roque Mingo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Faustino Ferrando came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the ANGELES XENEIZES fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faustino Ferrando couldn't finish the play. In the 24th minute, ANGELES XENEIZES's Severo Abadia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Roque Mingo. Roque Mingo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. La Docta FC's Amadeo Lalla has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 33rd minute. Faustino Ferrando struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Roque Mingo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ANGELES XENEIZES. Niceto Estevez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roque Mingo having to interfere. Melchor Valente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Ponciano in the 44th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in La Docta FC's zone, Faustino Ferrando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roque Mingo came out of the goal and Faustino Ferrando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Niceto Estevez managed to get in a good position for a shot. ANGELES XENEIZES's supporters rose to their feet, but Niceto Estevez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roque Mingo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Faustino Ferrando to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Faustino Ferrando in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roque Mingo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 53rdth minute of the game Faustino Ferrando who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Docta FC's Roque Mingo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Faustino Ferrando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roque Mingo having to interfere. The supporters of ANGELES XENEIZES booed when La Docta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Ermengol didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, ANGELES XENEIZES's goal looked a bit too open when Marcial Ponciano came free, but Melchor Valente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celso Pacorro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Faustino Ferrando struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Roque Mingo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ANGELES XENEIZES. After having played for 80 minutes, Faustino Ferrando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ANGELES XENEIZES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Faustino Ferrando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Marcial Ponciano fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Docta FC's protests and gave Marcial Ponciano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th match minute, La Docta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcial Ponciano to maneuver through the defense. Severo Abadia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Roque Mingo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in La Docta FC's zone, Severo Abadia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roque Mingo came out of the goal and Severo Abadia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There was no doubt that ANGELES XENEIZES were the better team. ANGELES XENEIZES's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
