Eduardo Tiadoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgardo Heli having to interfere. Flavio Berasko's late challenge caught a Barracas Central's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flavio Berasko helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of Wales Baby:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Barracas Central:s goal. The referee gave Barracas Central a penalty, 20 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Denis Nerio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Wales Baby's Edgardo Heli. 1-0. Eduardo Tiadoro might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgardo Heli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eduardo Tiadoro ran back to his position shaking his head. Ariel Diaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduardo Tiadoro struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Edgardo Heli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barracas Central. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Leon Ignazio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barracas Central's supporters rose to their feet, but Leon Ignazio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgardo Heli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 33rd minute, Ariel Diaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Leonardo Tabby's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luisito Dubardo was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. If Leonardo Tabby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, Barracas Central's Ariel Diaz got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute, Leonardo Tabby got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wales Baby's Edgardo Heli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Ignazio in the 61st minute of play. Leon Ignazio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Edgardo Heli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Wales Baby's zone, Leon Ignazio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgardo Heli came out of the goal and Leon Ignazio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The long shot by Flavio Berasko in the 69th minute really tested Luisito Dubardo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A collision led to Wales Baby getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Jonatan Oalo hit a great ball. In the 77th minute, Leon Ignazio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Eduardo Tiadoro came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Barracas Central fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Tiadoro couldn't finish the play. Leon Ignazio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Edgardo Heli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Humberto Mitxel hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Edgardo Heli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Tiadoro in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Felipe Gartzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 97 minutes, Eduardo Tiadoro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barracas Central's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Tiadoro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
