The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leonardo Tabby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Dubardo having to interfere. In the 9th minute, one of Barracas Central:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Barracas Central. In the 10th minute there was a penalty for Wales Baby. Esteve Goizeder stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Luisito Dubardo. 1-0. Eduardo Tiadoro took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgardo Heli. Edgardo Heli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Edgardo Heli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Tiadoro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Leon Ignazio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barracas Central's supporters rose to their feet, but Leon Ignazio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgardo Heli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wales Baby's Edgardo Heli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Tiadoro in the 23rd minute of play. Luisito Dubardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Tabby in the 30th minute of the match. Leonardo Tabby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Dubardo having to interfere. A collision led to Barracas Central getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Humberto Mitxel hit a great ball. Leonardo Tabby struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Luisito Dubardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wales Baby. Barracas Central's Leon Ignazio got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Wales Baby defense, Eduardo Tiadoro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgardo Heli. The Wales Baby fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgardo Heli should have stopped the shot. Maximino Senin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Luisito Dubardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eduardo Tiadoro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edgardo Heli was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Benedicto Iratxo. When Wales Baby's Maximino Senin in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barracas Central's goalie prevented a goal. Edgardo Heli made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Leon Ignazio sent off a good shot on target. When Ariel Diaz fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barracas Central's protests and gave Ariel Diaz a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Barracas Central's Ariel Diaz got a free kick in the 79th minute. After having played for 84 minutes, Eduardo Tiadoro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barracas Central's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Tiadoro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Wales Baby's zone, Leon Ignazio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgardo Heli came out of the goal and Leon Ignazio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Barracas Central! Esteve Goizeder shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Eduardo Tiadoro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edgardo Heli having to make a save.
