With an extended leg and a bit of luck Salvador Martxel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Jagüelito FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Wilfredo Errolan hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Atlético Belgrano Mza defense, Rodolfo Bazil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Salvador Martxel. The Atlético Belgrano Mza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Salvador Martxel should have stopped the shot. Fabricio Mano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomiro Aimar having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Armando Indalecio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Martxel having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Matai in the 59th minute of play forced Jagüelito FC's goalkeeper Baldomiro Aimar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armando Indalecio took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Salvador Martxel. Salvador Martxel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Salvador Martxel was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Armando Indalecio. Thanks to some nice moves Wilfredo Errolan could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Salvador Martxel however easily saved by the left post. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Armando Indalecio sped through Atlético Belgrano Mza's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Salvador Martxel. Armando Indalecio in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Salvador Martxel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 73 minutes of play, Atlético Belgrano Mza's Marcial Cidro made it 1-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baldomiro Aimar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Salvador Martxel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armando Indalecio in the 76th minute. In the 78th match minute, Jagüelito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Paz to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute Jacinto Olo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvador Martxel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Armando Indalecio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Salvador Martxel. That made the score 1-9 in the 87 minute of play. Armando Indalecio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute, Salvador Martxel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Baldomiro Aimar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Matai in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Jagüelito FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Atlético Belgrano Mza.
