If Godofredo Ralondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Efrain Fanuco came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Xeneize F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Efrain Fanuco couldn't finish the play. Godofredo Ralondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niceto Gaizko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorio Chago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute Roberto Oskitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niceto Gaizko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Norberto Iraitz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Angelo Erlantz. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Honorio Chago stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Froilan Chesus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Niceto Gaizko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorio Chago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute, Pescadores's Santos Martxelin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Norberto Iraitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godofredo Ralondo in the 62nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Godofredo Ralondo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Norberto Iraitz was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Honorio Chago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pescadores's Norberto Iraitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godofredo Ralondo in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Roberto Oskitz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Niceto Gaizko. The goal made the score 0-2. 78 minutes into the game, Bartolo Xabel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pescadores's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Xeneize F.C the free kick. After 78 played minutes Pescadores got a freekick which was hit by Bartolo Xabel. If Godofredo Ralondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cosme Cayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Norberto Iraitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godofredo Ralondo in the 90th minute of play forced Pescadores's goalkeeper Norberto Iraitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niceto Gaizko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santos Martxelin in the 93rd minute of the match. Godofredo Ralondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Norberto Iraitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Although Xeneize F.C had been in control for most of the match, Pescadores still came away with the win.
