After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Roberto Oskitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pescadores's supporters rose to their feet, but Roberto Oskitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrian Gumaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorio Chago in the 9th minute of play forced Avaí Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Adrian Gumaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the game, Roberto Oskitz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Adrian Gumaro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Roberto Oskitz took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adrian Gumaro. Adrian Gumaro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 17 minutes into the game, Marcelo Amaya was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pescadores's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Avaí Futebol Clube the free kick. Roberto Oskitz scored 0-3 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adrian Gumaro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Adrian Gumaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Oskitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the game, Gabriel Loreto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pescadores's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Avaí Futebol Clube the free kick. After 31 played minutes Pescadores got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Loreto. Avaí Futebol Clube's Eleuterio Castel got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Santos Martxelin hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Eleuterio Castel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Pescadores's zone, Isidro Suarez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norberto Iraitz came out of the goal and Isidro Suarez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eleuterio Castel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Iraitz having to interfere. Isidro Suarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Norberto Iraitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Avaí Futebol Clube booed when Pescadores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guaberto Emmanuel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Honorio Chago made a kick off. If Roberto Oskitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Roberto Oskitz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Adrian Gumaro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Honorio Chago was extremely unlucky when he, in the 62nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Honorio Chago could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Adrian Gumaro made a huge save. Santos Martxelin hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After 72 played minutes Pescadores got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Oskitz. Adrian Gumaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roberto Oskitz in the 74th minute. Isaac Ramone took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Norberto Iraitz. Pescadores's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Avaí Futebol Clube's Eleuterio Castel got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Avaí Futebol Clube's Isaac Ramone seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Isaac Ramone the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Avaí Futebol Clube protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Isaac Ramone had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Adrian Gumaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorio Chago in the 87th minute of play. The supporters of Pescadores booed when Avaí Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidro Suarez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Avaí Futebol Clube's zone, Roman Eudoxio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrian Gumaro came out of the goal and Roman Eudoxio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adrian Gumaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorio Chago, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Pescadores had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
