The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eleuterio Castel to strike the kick off in the second half. Danilo Etxepare hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teobaldo Navarro in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrian Gumaro saved Avaí Futebol Clube from getting behind. Ezequiel Argoitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eleuterio Castel in the 55th minute. Avaí Futebol Clube's Victorino Oliviero shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 83rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ezequiel Argoitz but with some difficulty. Adrian Gumaro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teobaldo Navarro went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Danilo Etxepare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
