But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ermegildo Jurgi couldn't finish the play. Alfonso Chesus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Tuste in the 40th minute of the match. When Jeremias Adrio, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 44 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Alfonso Chesus was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, Paunero AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Tuste came free, but Alfonso Chesus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfonso Chesus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Tuste in the 48th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Clemente Tuste to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Paunero AFC got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiro Llorenc. Guido Harri kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After 58 minutes, Eliseo Brion mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paunero AFC and the F.C Tomate players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eliseo Brion got his second yellow card in the match during the 60th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Eliseo Brion hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Paunero AFC's Alfonso Chesus got control of the ball when Jeremias Adrio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Guido Harri hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 64th match minute, Paunero AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermegildo Jurgi to maneuver through the defense. Alfonso Chesus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeremias Adrio in the 66th minute. Aldo Garaile took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciriaco Edur. Ciriaco Edur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Ciriaco Edur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo Garaile, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guido Harri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciriaco Edur having to interfere. Saturnino Tipi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciriaco Edur having to interfere. Ciriaco Edur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Garaile in the 80th minute of the match. If Jeremias Adrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of F.C Tomate booed when Paunero AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermegildo Jurgi didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Tuste in the 90th minute of play forced Paunero AFC's goalkeeper Alfonso Chesus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Aldo Garaile came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Paunero AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aldo Garaile couldn't finish the play. After having played for 95 minutes, Aldo Garaile managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paunero AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aldo Garaile was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the F.C Tomate players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Paunero AFC.
