Victorino Mantzio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Ciriaco Cordero made a huge save. Delmiro Ursino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adan Atarrabi in the 20th minute of the match. When Leo Estebe came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Baibiene fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Estebe couldn't finish the play. 22 minutes into the match, Ovejaperdida's goal looked a bit too open when Adan Atarrabi came free, but Delmiro Ursino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adan Atarrabi to make the kick off. From close distance Leo Estebe pressed in the 2-1 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 57 minutes into the game. Anselmo Froila struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Ciriaco Cordero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ovejaperdida. Victorino Mantzio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute Victorino Mantzio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Cordero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adan Atarrabi spun around in front of the goal 81 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Ovejaperdida's goal. Leo Estebe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Delmiro Ursino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Gaston Charro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baibiene's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaston Charro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delmiro Ursino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victorino Mantzio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciriaco Cordero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Many of Baibiene's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Baibiene may have spent more time on the ball, but Ovejaperdida were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
