GordoHuber FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abelardo Bingen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Mercurio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 31 minutes into the game, one of Lírico de Buenos Aires:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 34 minutes, GordoHuber FC's Geronimo Tiadoro got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Francisco Mercurio. After 37 played minutes GordoHuber FC got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Jeraldo. In the 39th minute, Nereo Benvido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 41 minutes, Nereo Benvido managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lírico de Buenos Aires's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nereo Benvido was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hilario Gartzea in the 48thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Francisco Mercurio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nereo Benvido to strike the kick off in the second half. Nereo Benvido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nereo Benvido couldn't finish the play. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lírico de Buenos Aires's goalkeeper Francisco Mercurio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hilario Gartzea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Mercurio having to interfere. After 66 played minutes Lírico de Buenos Aires got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Kimetz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilario Gartzea in the 72nd minute of play forced Lírico de Buenos Aires's goalkeeper Francisco Mercurio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Lírico de Buenos Aires's Prospero Kimetz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Agustin Indalecio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Abelardo Bingen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francisco Mercurio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Agustin Indalecio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nereo Benvido in the 86th minute. Rafael Quintun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The GordoHuber FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lírico de Buenos Aires had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
