After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Inocencio Berdoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Plate River's supporters rose to their feet, but Inocencio Berdoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Calvino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Laureano Txaran struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Fernando Calvino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Plate River. After 8 played minutes Olivos Warriors got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Jakes. Fernando Calvino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laureano Txaran in the 11th minute of the match. Inocencio Berdoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Calvino having to interfere. Laureano Txaran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 19 minutes into the game, one of Olivos Warriors:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Fernando Calvino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inocencio Berdoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Inocencio Berdoi in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Calvino saved Olivos Warriors from getting behind. In the 30th minute Laureano Txaran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Calvino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastian Isias kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Rogelio Benino's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Fernando Calvino - 0-2 was put on the score board in the 36th minute. 45 minutes into the match, Olivos Warriors's goal looked a bit too open when Laureano Txaran came free, but Fernando Calvino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julio Toli to make the kick off. Laureano Txaran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Fernando Calvino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute of the match, Inocencio Berdoi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fernando Calvino was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Inocencio Berdoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Plate River's Laureano Txaran got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Matias Semeno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Lekubegi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th match minute, Plate River was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laureano Txaran to maneuver through the defense. Matias Semeno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Lekubegi in the 76th minute of play. Laureano Txaran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Calvino having to interfere. Inocencio Berdoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olivos Warriors's Fernando Calvino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Olivos Warriors from getting a goal against them.
