Lisandro Peyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvio Oton in the 28th minute of the match. Aldo Gilen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Lisandro Peyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roman Egoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siro Balasi in the 31st minute of play. After some careless play in the Atletico granada defense, Aldo Gilen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lisandro Peyo. The Atletico granada fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lisandro Peyo should have stopped the shot. Roman Egoitz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adolfo Fidele went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Alejandro Segio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siro Balasi in the 46th minute of play forced Girondo AFC's goalkeeper Roman Egoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Orlando Rico during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Orlando Rico hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. 49 minutes had been played when some careless play by Girondo AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Amancio Tulio was slow to take the kick. During this time Atletico granada's players had a chance to rest.

After some careless play in the Atletico granada defense, Silvio Oton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lisandro Peyo. The Atletico granada fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lisandro Peyo should have stopped the shot. Siro Balasi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roman Egoitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Roman Egoitz made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Adolfo Fidele sent off a good shot on target. Girondo AFC's Silvio Oton got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lisandro Peyo came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Girondo AFC's Silvio Oton. But to his dismay, Silvio Oton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. With his leg Roman Egoitz managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Atletico granada's Adolfo Fidele fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 80 minutes into the game, Damian Lapurdi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Girondo AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletico granada the free kick. Adolfo Fidele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Egoitz having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Atletico granada's goal looked a bit too open when Silvio Oton came free, but Lisandro Peyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Girondo AFC booed when Atletico granada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Segio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Girondo AFC's Aldo Gilen got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute Aldo Gilen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Peyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 97th minute, Aldo Gilen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Girondo AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Atletico granada players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Girondo AFC.
