The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Maximino Chago kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. With his leg Gustavo Oihenarte managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Pachorrista FC's Mauro Quexal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Candido Henry hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Gorka in the 32nd minute of play forced Antonio FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Oihenarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 34 played minutes Antonio FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Casomiro. Antonio FC's Gustavo Oihenarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Gorka in the 38th minute of play. Rene Gorka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Hilario Pere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Rene Gorka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Gustavo Oihenarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Alberto Castel fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Antonio FC's protests and gave Alberto Castel a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Pachorrista FC booed when Antonio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Castel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mauro Quexal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Oihenarte having to interfere. Antonio FC's Gustavo Oihenarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Gorka in the 62nd minute of play. Mauro Quexal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pachorrista FC. The goalkeeper, Paulo Aguilera, was totally fooled by Antonio FC's Maximiliano Iraido, who 72 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Pachorrista FC's Candido Henry got his second yellow card of the match in the 75th minute. The referee ordered Candido Henry off the ground. After 76 played minutes Pachorrista FC got a freekick which was hit by Candido Henry. 76 minutes into the match, Antonio FC's Maximiliano Iraido broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Antonio FC's Jesus Lazcano got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 85 minutes into the game, Carolo Beturian was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pachorrista FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Antonio FC the free kick. After 85 played minutes Pachorrista FC got a freekick which was hit by Carolo Beturian. After some careless play in the Antonio FC defense, Mauro Quexal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustavo Oihenarte. The Antonio FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustavo Oihenarte should have stopped the shot. Antonio FC's Gustavo Oihenarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Quexal in the 94th minute of play. Delmar Gartzea's late challenge caught a Antonio FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Delmar Gartzea helped the player get up and apologised. In the 97th match minute, Pachorrista FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmar Gartzea to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the Pachorrista FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
