Orlando Rico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Silvio Oton struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Fernando Calvino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Girondo AFC. In the 12th minute Silvio Oton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Calvino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 13 minutes of play, Girondo AFC's Silvio Oton made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernando Calvino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fernando Calvino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aldo Gilen's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Girondo AFC's Roman Egoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Toli in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Silvio Oton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernando Calvino was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Girondo AFC's Roman Egoitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Girondo AFC from getting a goal against them. When Baldomero Maurino fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Girondo AFC's protests and gave Baldomero Maurino a yellow card for diving instead. Fernando Calvino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvio Oton in the 39th minute of play. Aldo Gilen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Silvio Oton notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Olivos Warriors's Fernando Calvino. Fernando Calvino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Girondo AFC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silvio Oton made a kick off. Omar Balesio kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Girondo AFC's Ubaldo Aguilera couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 57th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Olivos Warriors. 61 minutes into the match, Olivos Warriors's goal looked a bit too open when Silvio Oton came free, but Fernando Calvino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aldo Gilen's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fernando Calvino firmly grabbed it by the left post. Silvio Oton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Girondo AFC booed when Olivos Warriors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Arnalt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aldo Gilen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Silvio Oton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute Julio Toli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Egoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aldo Gilen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Fernando Calvino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernando Calvino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvio Oton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvio Oton was extremely unlucky when he, in the 86th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Julio Toli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Roman Egoitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Lekubegi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Egoitz having to interfere. In the 97th minute Julio Toli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Egoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
