Guido Curcio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Fernando Calvino made a huge save. After 16 played minutes Bolistone got a freekick which was hit by Victoriano Sandaili. In the 17th minute Julio Toli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Sidro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 56 minutes of play Olivos Warriors's Leonardo Jakes was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Guido Curcio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bolistone's supporters rose to their feet, but Guido Curcio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Calvino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Victoriano Sandaili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Bolistone lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
