In the 3rd minute, Alberto Castel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Inocencio Berdoi came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Plate River fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inocencio Berdoi couldn't finish the play. Cristo Casomiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matias Semeno having to interfere. If Inocencio Berdoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matias Semeno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristo Casomiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antonio FC's Gustavo Oihenarte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Antonio FC from getting a goal against them. If Inocencio Berdoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Gustavo Oihenarte successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alberto Castel during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 24 played minutes Antonio FC got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Castel. Inocencio Berdoi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustavo Oihenarte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. When Maximo Indalecio fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Plate River's protests and gave Maximo Indalecio a yellow card for diving instead. Maximo Indalecio hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After 36 minutes of play, Antonio FC's Cristo Casomiro made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matias Semeno was left in no man's land by his defense there! 42 minutes into the match, Laureano Txaran dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gustavo Oihenarte, 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristo Casomiro to strike the kick off in the second half. Laureano Txaran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Oihenarte having to interfere. Inocencio Berdoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Inocencio Berdoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Oihenarte having to interfere. Laureano Txaran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Oihenarte having to interfere. Inocencio Berdoi struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Gustavo Oihenarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Plate River. After a rather tough play, Antonio FC's Eusebio Pere got a free kick in the 70th minute. A collision led to Antonio FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Feliberto Garoa hit a great ball. Gustavo Oihenarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laureano Txaran, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Inocencio Berdoi struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Gustavo Oihenarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Plate River. After a defensive mix-up in Antonio FC's zone, Laureano Txaran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Oihenarte came out of the goal and Laureano Txaran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 81 minutes, Inocencio Berdoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Plate River's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inocencio Berdoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gustavo Oihenarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laureano Txaran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, Plate River's Laureano Txaran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gustavo Oihenarte narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 86 played minutes Antonio FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardino Rosalio. Gustavo Oihenarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Berdoi in the 87th minute of play. Laureano Txaran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gustavo Oihenarte having to make a save. Plate River were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
