Clason's Aristides Petri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Clason from getting a goal against them. Plate River's Laureano Txaran was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 12th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After a rather tough play, Plate River's Damaso Heriberto got a free kick in the 20th minute. Laureano Txaran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristides Petri having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Clason's zone, Laureano Txaran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristides Petri came out of the goal and Laureano Txaran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 29 minutes into the match, Clason's goal looked a bit too open when Laureano Txaran came free, but Aristides Petri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Inocencio Berdoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Clason's zone, Laureano Txaran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristides Petri came out of the goal and Laureano Txaran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aristides Petri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Inocencio Berdoi went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Hipolito Basualdo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Matias Semeno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Laureano Txaran to strike the kick off in the second half. If Damaso Heriberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inocencio Berdoi took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aristides Petri. Aristides Petri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After 59 minutes of play, Plate River's Laureano Txaran made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aristides Petri was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damaso Heriberto in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aristides Petri saved Clason from getting behind. 65 minutes into the match, Clason's goal looked a bit too open when Laureano Txaran came free, but Aristides Petri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Plate River booed when Clason was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hipolito Basualdo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Inocencio Berdoi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aristides Petri was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. 81 minutes into the match, Clason's Hipolito Basualdo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matias Semeno narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Inocencio Berdoi came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Plate River fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inocencio Berdoi couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute, Serafin Precioso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute, Laureano Txaran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aristides Petri was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Laureano Txaran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Aristides Petri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 93rd play minutes Laureano Txaran shot 6-0, a short shot which went by Aristides Petri and just under the crossbar into goal. Aristides Petri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Laureano Txaran went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Plate River walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
