Union FC's Antonio Efren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelino Chico in the 25th minute of play. Raul Gilabert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Itzaina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 31 played minutes Chuña AFC got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Abajas. After 32 played minutes Union FC got a freekick which was hit by Evelio Jorrin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelino Chico in the 34th minute of play forced Union FC's goalkeeper Antonio Efren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonio Efren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilson Severino in the 35th minute. If Jonas Itzaina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonas Itzaina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcelino Chico to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 64th minute of the match, Jonas Itzaina got a very nice opportunity to score, but Raul Gilabert was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 66th minute Wilson Severino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Efren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jimmy Hendrix charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jimmy Hendrix the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
