Ramiro Gaztea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Gabino, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute David Gabino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Gaztea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 46 played minutes Casablanca FC got a freekick which was hit by Rogelio Mingo. After 50 minutes Casablanca FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ceferino Fonso who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Canton United's Ceferino Fonso to fire away a dangerous shot which Ramiro Gaztea despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After having played for 55 minutes, Omar Toro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canton United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Omar Toro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. David Gabino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ramiro Gaztea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Omar Toro's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Florentino Ignado kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. If Omar Toro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Gabino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Gabino in the 72nd minute of play forced Casablanca FC's goalkeeper Ramiro Gaztea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a left leg Ramiro Gaztea saved Casablanca FC from getting behind. 89 minutes into the match, Casablanca FC's goal looked a bit too open when David Gabino came free, but Ramiro Gaztea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Canton United's goalkeeper Eloy Pasqual had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Gines. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Gines got free with Eloy Pasqual in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Casablanca FC fans' excitement grew in the 100th match minute when Casablanca FC's David Gines looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Casablanca FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
