Cornelio Bemabe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Raul Gilabert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcelino Chico blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Constancio Vilanova having to make a save. 13 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Talleres's goalkeeper Constancio Vilanova had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Abajas. Raul Gilabert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximo Caton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th match minute, Club Atletico Talleres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustacio Eleazar to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the game, Seb Tano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chuña AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atletico Talleres the free kick. Club Atletico Talleres's Conrado Lizardi was substituted for Alberto Bazkoare. The supporters of Club Atletico Talleres booed when Chuña AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seb Tano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 24 minutes, Maximo Caton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Talleres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximo Caton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chuña AFC's Raul Gilabert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelio Bemabe in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Maximo Caton notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Chuña AFC's Raul Gilabert. Raul Gilabert was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 35th minute, Maximo Caton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raul Gilabert was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Club Atletico Talleres's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jimmy Hendrix 39 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Club Atletico Talleres's Constancio Vilanova played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelino Chico in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Chuña AFC's Marcelino Chico dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcelino Chico made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Talleres's goal looked a bit too open when Wilson Severino came free, but Constancio Vilanova reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raul Gilabert didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maximo Caton went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Angelo Guib charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angelo Guib the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Angelo Guib kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Maximo Caton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Gilabert having to interfere. Constancio Vilanova showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilson Severino, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Cornelio Bemabe got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 2-5 in the right cross in the 69th match minute before Raul Gilabert had time to react. After 72nd play minutes Maximo Caton shot 2-6, a short shot which went by Raul Gilabert and just under the crossbar into goal. Cornelio Bemabe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Raul Gilabert made a huge save. In the 81st minute, Ulises Jurgi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Raul Gilabert. The goal made the score 2-7. With his leg Raul Gilabert managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Club Atletico Talleres's Cornelio Bemabe fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Club Atletico Talleres fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when Club Atletico Talleres's Maximo Caton looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
