Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Leopoldo Bixintxo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute, Ciro Salomon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Fanegas booed when Shelby FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Ixaka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hilario Bastian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fanegas's Albino Naelio shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 9th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Krister Forssell but with some difficulty. After 9 played minutes Shelby FC got a freekick which was hit by Justo Rodas. Hilario Bastian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Krister Forssell having to interfere. Krister Forssell didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Fanegas's Hilario Bastian shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 18th match minute, Fanegas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Urtsin to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basilio Madeo in the 25th minute of play forced Fanegas's goalkeeper Leo Orlandus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute of the match Florencio Dominic sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leo Orlandus skillfully saved the ball. The long shot by Albino Naelio in the 30th minute really tested Krister Forssell's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a rather tough play, Shelby FC's Ciro Salomon got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 32nd match minute, Shelby FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florencio Dominic to maneuver through the defense. Krister Forssell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hilario Bastian's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Cirilo Videl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Krister Forssell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Justo Rodas kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. If Eduardo Savion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hilario Bastian got free with Krister Forssell in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hilario Bastian stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Hilario Bastian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basilio Madeo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Leo Orlandus firmly grabbed it by the left post. 60 minutes into the game, one of Shelby FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Krister Forssell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hilario Bastian, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hilario Bastian in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Krister Forssell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Justo Rodas hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Eduardo Savion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduardo Savion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Krister Forssell having to interfere. Basilio Madeo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Fanegas had won after a very even match.
