With his leg Eustaquio Birila managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when Shelby FC's Basilio Madeo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Leopoldo Bixintxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Eustaquio Birila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Timoteo Eguerdi hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute, Sergio Ibañez sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Shelby FC's Krister Forssell didn't even have to move. A collision led to Shelby FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Leopoldo Bixintxo hit a great ball. Krister Forssell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixto Ondino, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 20th match minute, C.A.Temperley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pastor Vitin to maneuver through the defense. Eustacio Ritchie scored 0-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Krister Forssell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of C.A.Temperley booed when Shelby FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Barto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eustaquio Birila stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leopoldo Bixintxo's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. If Sixto Ondino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Shelby FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. C.A.Temperley were winning 0-1.

A collision led to Shelby FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Ciro Salomon hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Eustacio Ritchie managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A.Temperley's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustacio Ritchie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Krister Forssell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Bixintxo in the 66th minute of play forced C.A.Temperley's goalkeeper Eustaquio Birila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leopoldo Bixintxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Eustaquio Birila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the C.A.Temperley defense, Leopoldo Bixintxo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eustaquio Birila. The C.A.Temperley fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eustaquio Birila should have stopped the shot. Basilio Madeo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustaquio Birila having to interfere. After 83 minutes, Joel Fanuco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A.Temperley and the Shelby FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joel Fanuco kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Sergio Ibañez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Shelby FC's Alejandro Ixaka couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 87th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for C.A.Temperley. Eustaquio Birila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Bixintxo in the 90th minute of the match. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Shelby FC. When Joel Fanuco was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 94 minutes had been played. Joel Fanuco hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. C.A.Temperley's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
