If Mauro Baristo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 15 played minutes Piquera Teem got a freekick which was hit by Aureliano Remir. 18 minutes into the match, Piquera Teem's Raul Ibañez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Honorato Transito narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, Piquera Teem's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Baristo came free, but Fidel Amaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Raul Ibañez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasio Nuñez in the 44th minute of play forced Cafe Racer FC's goalkeeper Honorato Transito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anastasio Nuñez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Raul Ibañez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorato Transito having to interfere. With his leg Honorato Transito managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Piquera Teem's Raul Ibañez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Victorino Sansone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
