After 16 played minutes Palma FC got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Demesio. 17 minutes into the match, Gremio de Mochis's Geronimo Donzel broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Freddy Demesio was shown his second yellow card after 20 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. Maximiliano Kismi hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gremio de Mochis's zone, Amador Poz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgard Nahia came out of the goal and Amador Poz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amador Poz placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gremio de Mochis eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
