In the 10th minute Cristobal Lidon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Lidon in the 13th minute of play forced San Lorenzo FC's goalkeeper Zeledon Abad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristobal Lidon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Abad having to interfere. Gremio de Mochis's Alejandro Maule got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Zeledon Abad managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Gremio de Mochis's Alejandro Maule fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. San Lorenzo FC's Zeledon Abad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save San Lorenzo FC from getting a goal against them. After 26 played minutes San Lorenzo FC got a freekick which was hit by Dionisio Johans. Alejandro Maule sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zeledon Abad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristobal Lidon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Salvador Gonsalve kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. If Cristobal Lidon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Salvador Gonsalve made a kick off. Cornelio Federigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Zeledon Abad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gremio de Mochis's Melchor Gomez got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th minute, Alejandro Maule got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alejandro Maule in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zeledon Abad prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 62 minutes, Antonio Elizardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Lorenzo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonio Elizardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonio Elizardo got free with Edgard Nahia in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antonio Elizardo in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Edgard Nahia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Gremio de Mochis getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Cornelio Federigo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Lidon in the 73rd minute of play forced San Lorenzo FC's goalkeeper Zeledon Abad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Maule came free, but Zeledon Abad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zeledon Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristobal Lidon, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Braulio Errolan's late challenge caught a Gremio de Mochis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zeledon Abad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejandro Maule in the 79th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Maule came free, but Zeledon Abad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgard Nahia was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Salvador Gonsalve showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 83 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Antonio Elizardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Lorenzo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonio Elizardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgard Nahia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 89 minutes into the game, Cornelio Federigo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gremio de Mochis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Lorenzo FC the free kick. After 89 played minutes Gremio de Mochis got a freekick which was hit by Cornelio Federigo. Antonio Elizardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgard Nahia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Salvador Gonsalve struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Edgard Nahia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Lorenzo FC.
