Talleres's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidio Haritzeder came free, but Leonel Tanio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelino Vascos short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Ariel Tello to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Trompul FC's Ariel Tello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Beltxe in the 17th minute of play. Leonel Tanio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidio Haritzeder, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Primitivo Lucila was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A. Talleres's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trompul FC the free kick. In the 19th minute, Primitivo Lucila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The C.A. Talleres fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when C.A. Talleres's Esteban Beltxe looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Isidoro Montrelle struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Leonel Tanio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trompul FC. 44 minutes into the match, Angelino Vasco notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Trompul FC's Ariel Tello. Ariel Tello was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Esteban Beltxe was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelino Vasco in the 52nd minute of play forced Trompul FC's goalkeeper Ariel Tello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ariel Tello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteban Beltxe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angelino Vasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Tello having to interfere. If Angelino Vasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, Angelino Vasco notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Trompul FC's Ariel Tello. Ariel Tello was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Esteban Beltxe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When C.A. Talleres's Angelino Vasco in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Trompul FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ariel Tello should have stopped the shot. Esteban Beltxe scored 6-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ariel Tello, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Trompul FC booed when C.A. Talleres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Santo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Trompul FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Arnulfo Gaitan in the 91st minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Amancio Barbosa heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After 93 played minutes Trompul FC got a freekick which was hit by Braulio Pudes. After a defensive mix-up in Trompul FC's zone, Esteban Beltxe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ariel Tello came out of the goal and Esteban Beltxe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Trompul FC defense, Esteban Beltxe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ariel Tello. The Trompul FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ariel Tello should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that C.A. Talleres were the better team. C.A. Talleres's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
