Spectators: 7142 (Terracing: 5420, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 60) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Florencio Bidun started the match with the kick off. After having played for 7 minutes, Benigno Iraido managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trompul FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benigno Iraido was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Florencio Bidun dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ariel Tello, 1-0. When Ovidio Haritzeder, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 15 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Artemio Intxixu was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Ariel Tello stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustavo Ursino's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Ovidio Haritzeder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artemio Intxixu having to interfere. Braulio Clemencin hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Gustavo Ursino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Isidoro Montrelle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Florencio Bidun came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Holanda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florencio Bidun couldn't finish the play. When the match had been going on for 37 minutes, Holanda's Leonides Sergi got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ariel Tello. In the 47th minute Isidoro Montrelle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artemio Intxixu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Montrelle in the 48th minute of play forced Holanda's goalkeeper Artemio Intxixu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

After a rather tough play, Holanda's Bernardo Berto got a free kick in the 53rd minute. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Isidoro Montrelle took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Artemio Intxixu to make any attempt to save it. 66 minutes into the match, Trompul FC's Isidoro Montrelle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Artemio Intxixu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 66 played minutes Trompul FC got a freekick which was hit by Benigno Iraido. Gustavo Ursino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Honorio Primeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Honorio Primeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Honorio Primeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Ariel Tello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Bidun in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Ovidio Haritzeder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Trompul FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
