The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Galatasaray Fc booed when C.A. Leonel Tanio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severo Urritz, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. When Galatasaray Fc's Severo Urritz in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A. Talleres's goalie prevented a goal. Leonel Tanio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genaro Chico, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. C.A. Talleres's Leonel Tanio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severo Urritz in the 27th minute of play. Leonel Tanio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severo Urritz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 49 minutes, Genaro Chico mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galatasaray Fc and the C.A. Talleres players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 50th match minute, Galatasaray Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genaro Chico to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severo Urritz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Galatasaray Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Lucila came free, but Alejandro Goren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute Esteban Beltxe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Goren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timoteo Lamberto hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. If Esteban Beltxe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, Angelino Vasco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alejandro Goren. Galatasaray Fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angelino Vasco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 76 minutes into the match, Angelino Vasco notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Galatasaray Fc's Alejandro Goren. Alejandro Goren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonatan Stephen's late challenge caught a Galatasaray Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonatan Stephen helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, C.A. Talleres's Jonatan Stephen got a free kick in the 80th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Galatasaray Fc's Jonathan Cisco tried to score from far away in the 81st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Angelino Vasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Alejandro Goren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Galatasaray Fc's Alejandro Goren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelino Vasco in the 89th minute of play. Severo Urritz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Leonel Tanio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 98th minute, Primitivo Lucila got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. C.A. Talleres walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
