Esteban Beltxe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ivan Quexal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Angelino Vasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Ivan Quexal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Octavio Goito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Tanio having to interfere. Angelino Vasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ivan Quexal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Tablada AFC booed when C.A. Talleres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Lucila didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Quexal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonatan Stephen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Esteban Beltxe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Octavio Goito to make the kick off. After some careless play in the C.A. Talleres defense, Octavio Goito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonel Tanio. The C.A. Talleres fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonel Tanio should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Esteban Beltxe took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Ivan Quexal to make any attempt to save it. After 60 played minutes Tablada AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jose Elizardo. 61 minutes into the match, Tablada AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Beltxe came free, but Ivan Quexal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tablada AFC's Alejandro Larpe got a free kick in the 64th minute. C.A. Talleres's Erlingur Haaland couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 65th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tablada AFC. After a defensive mix-up in Tablada AFC's zone, Angelino Vasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Quexal came out of the goal and Angelino Vasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, C.A. Talleres's Ivan Quexal threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Esteban Beltxe, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Angelino Vasco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Ivan Quexal when he managed to save the team from getting behind. C.A. Talleres's Leonel Tanio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavio Goito in the 81st minute of play. When Jose Elizardo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 83 minutes had been played. The supporters of C.A. Talleres booed when Tablada AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Elizardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Octavio Goito fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tablada AFC's protests and gave Octavio Goito a yellow card for diving instead. Octavio Goito kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Esteban Beltxe took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Ivan Quexal to make any attempt to save it.
