Sarmiento's Horacio Rafel shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 7th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Artemio Intxixu but with some difficulty. Leonides Sergi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eulalio Rocio. Sarmiento's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Bidun in the 11th minute of play forced Sarmiento's goalkeeper Eulalio Rocio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Clodoveo Guillelmo during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th minute, Clodoveo Guillelmo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florencio Bidun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eulalio Rocio having to interfere. Honorio Primeiro's late challenge caught a Sarmiento's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Honorio Primeiro helped the player get up and apologised. After recieving a nice pass, Sarmiento's Gavino Guillen tried to score from far away in the 21st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute of the match Roman Todor shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eulalio Rocio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 28 played minutes Sarmiento got a freekick which was hit by Gavino Eutor. The audience was convinced that Gustavo Ursino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eulalio Rocio was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Holanda's Artemio Intxixu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Holanda from getting a goal against them. Holanda's Artemio Intxixu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Caton in the 32nd minute of play. In the 46th minute, Cristo Tabby left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sarmiento fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0.

Gustavo Ursino succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 54th playminute. If Florencio Bidun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eulalio Rocio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustavo Ursino in the 63rd minute. Gustavo Ursino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Eulalio Rocio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eulalio Rocio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Florencio Bidun showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 72 minute of play. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sarmiento's goalkeeper Eulalio Rocio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Florencio Bidun took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Eulalio Rocio to make any attempt to save it. If Florencio Bidun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teo Caton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Artemio Intxixu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristo Tabby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Sarmiento fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Holanda were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
