Ivan Quexal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvio Amato in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Silvio Amato left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Las Tortugas de Lujan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After some careless play in the Tablada AFC defense, Serafin Valente kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivan Quexal. The Tablada AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivan Quexal should have stopped the shot. Silvio Amato struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Ivan Quexal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Las Tortugas de Lujan. Alejandro Larpe charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alejandro Larpe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Silvio Amato recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Silvio Amato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Serafin Valente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Silvio Amato's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivan Quexal was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Silvio Amato took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivan Quexal. Ivan Quexal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0.
