Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Paulino Veremundo kicked off to start the match. Eulalio Rocio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Veremundo in the 7th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Paulino Veremundo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eulalio Rocio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Benigno Joseph might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eulalio Rocio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benigno Joseph ran back to his position shaking his head. Benigno Joseph received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eulalio Rocio came out and tried to block the shot, but Benigno Joseph slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 16th minute. In the 20th play minute Benigno Joseph came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Eulalio Rocio. 3-0. A collision led to Gaboto AFC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Pablo Harkaitz hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Pablo Harkaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gavino Guillen, 27 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 28th minute, Pablo Harkaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benigno Joseph fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eulalio Rocio having to interfere. Eulalio Rocio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Veremundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 39th minute, Pablo Harkaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Eulalio Rocio managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when Gaboto AFC's Benigno Joseph fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sarmiento's Eulalio Rocio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Sarmiento from getting a goal against them. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The wind increased when Teo Caton made the kick off in the second half. Jacobo Oroitz hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Eulalio Rocio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Veremundo in the 54th minute of play. Paulino Veremundo hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Benigno Joseph received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Eulalio Rocio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Sarmiento's zone, Benigno Joseph stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eulalio Rocio came out of the goal and Benigno Joseph tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Clodoveo Guillelmo fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sarmiento's protests and gave Clodoveo Guillelmo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Gaboto AFC booed when Sarmiento was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clodoveo Guillelmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sarmiento's zone, Benigno Joseph stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eulalio Rocio came out of the goal and Benigno Joseph tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benigno Joseph took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eulalio Rocio. Eulalio Rocio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. 78 minutes into the game, Teo Caton recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anastasio Sidoro. Teo Caton showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulino Veremundo in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eulalio Rocio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eulalio Rocio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benigno Joseph in the 87th minute of the match. If Benigno Joseph had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eulalio Rocio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benigno Joseph in the 92nd minute of play. Paulino Veremundo's late challenge caught a Sarmiento's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulino Veremundo helped the player get up and apologised. After 93 played minutes Gaboto AFC got a freekick which was hit by Paulino Veremundo. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sarmiento players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gaboto AFC.
