The supporters of Holanda booed when Las Tortugas de Lujan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustin Ovando didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Bernardo Berto from long distance, 34 minutes into the match, got Amado Gutxi's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Holanda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Las Tortugas de Lujan the free kick. After 76 played minutes Holanda got a freekick which was hit by Roman Todor. When Serafin Valente came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Las Tortugas de Lujan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafin Valente couldn't finish the play. Silvio Amato received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Artemio Intxixu came out and tried to block the shot, but Silvio Amato slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 79th minute. An unexpected shot in the 85th minute by Serafin Valente got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Artemio Intxixu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvio Amato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvio Amato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Artemio Intxixu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvio Amato's late challenge caught a Holanda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvio Amato helped the player get up and apologised. Silvio Amato hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Las Tortugas de Lujan eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
