After having played for 17 minutes, Cornelio Maju managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Bañil CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cornelio Maju was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ferro Carril Oeste's Bernardino Jaunzuria got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baltasar Jaunzuria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Ramon Urbez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramon Urbez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Jaunzuria in the 28th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Baltasar Jaunzuria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Ramon Urbez made a huge save. Basilio Aznar kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Real Bañil CF. The Ferro Carril Oeste supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Real Bañil CF's performance. The match ended with a win for Real Bañil CF.
