The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teodoro Gaspard during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Teodoro Gaspard hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Casimiro Checa made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Amadeo Ticho sent off a good shot on target. After 25 played minutes Batel AFC got a freekick which was hit by Americo Xabel. After a rather tough play, Batel AFC's Teodoro Gaspard got a free kick in the 28th minute. The long shot by Hermengildo Rioja in the 29th minute really tested Casimiro Checa's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Amadeo Ticho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lagunillas F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Amadeo Ticho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casimiro Checa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Casimiro Checa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amadeo Ticho went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Lagunillas F.C. getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Filiberto Tabby hit a great ball. Amadeo Ticho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Casimiro Checa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Celso Ongile showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 44 minute of play. If Celso Ongile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Americo Xabel to make the kick off. Urbano Bittor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Casimiro Checa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Ongile in the 58th minute of play. Casimiro Checa came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Lagunillas F.C.'s Amadeo Ticho. But to his dismay, Amadeo Ticho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After 74 minutes of play, Lagunillas F.C.'s Amadeo Ticho made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Casimiro Checa was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 78th minute, Cirilo Raymond hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mateo Urdin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Batel AFC. Cesar Pirro kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Batel AFC defense, Celso Ongile kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Casimiro Checa. The Batel AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Casimiro Checa should have stopped the shot. In the 96th minute Amadeo Ticho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Checa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Lagunillas F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
