Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) Celso Ongile started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Celso Ongile came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Lagunillas F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celso Ongile couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Ezequiel Criston took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Mateo Urdin to make any attempt to save it. Esteve Figueroa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Ticho in the 13th minute of play. Amadeo Ticho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute, Abelardo Duardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Lagunillas F.C. booed when Soitué was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Nardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Soitué's zone, Celso Ongile stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteve Figueroa came out of the goal and Celso Ongile tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amadeo Ticho took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Esteve Figueroa. Esteve Figueroa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. A collision led to Soitué getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Abelardo Duardo hit a great ball. Urbano Bittor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Figueroa having to interfere. Celso Ongile received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Esteve Figueroa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Soitué's zone, Amadeo Ticho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteve Figueroa came out of the goal and Amadeo Ticho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Celso Ongile sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ezequiel Criston made a kick off. Ezequiel Criston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Mateo Urdin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mateo Urdin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Ondino in the 55th minute of the match. Esteve Figueroa was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Celso Ongile capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Celso Ongile really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Celso Ongile received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Esteve Figueroa came out and tried to block the shot, but Celso Ongile slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 66th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Ezequiel Criston had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mateo Urdin. Lagunillas F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ezequiel Criston was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Soitué's Ulises Ondino got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amadeo Ticho might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Esteve Figueroa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amadeo Ticho ran back to his position shaking his head. 79 minutes into the game, Celso Ongile recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Esteve Figueroa. Celso Ongile showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. Esteve Figueroa made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Amadeo Ticho sent off a good shot on target. In the 84th minute, Amadeo Ticho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Lagunillas F.C.'s Celso Ongile got a free kick in the 86th minute. If Ulises Ondino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amadeo Ticho's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 94thth minute, Esteve Figueroa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match was over Lagunillas F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Soitué throughout the match.
