The supporters of Soitué booed when Avellaneda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cecilio Isias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Panos Mendrinos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Esteve Figueroa firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 10th play minute Panos Mendrinos came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Esteve Figueroa. 1-0. 17 minutes into the game, Hugó Baróti lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Esteve Figueroa. Avellaneda FC's Ariel Alfonso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Ondino in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Avellaneda FC's Panos Mendrinos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Esteve Figueroa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 29th minute Ezequiel Criston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Alfonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute Hugó Baróti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Figueroa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Panos Mendrinos made a precise shot to the right of Esteve Figueroa. Soitué's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Esteve Figueroa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Perez in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Delmiro Erauso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Soitué's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Avellaneda FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Soitué's Delmiro Erauso got a free kick in the 45th minute. Esteve Figueroa acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 47th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Magne Valrot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Magne Valrot in the 55th minute of play forced Soitué's goalkeeper Esteve Figueroa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The goalkeeper, Ariel Alfonso, was totally fooled by Soitué's Amadeo Laffitte, who 61 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. A collision led to Soitué getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Lisandro Nardo hit a great ball. After having played for 70 minutes, Hugó Baróti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Avellaneda FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugó Baróti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Enrique Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Enrique Perez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Esteve Figueroa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Antonio Teyo fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Soitué's protests and gave Antonio Teyo a yellow card for diving instead. Antonio Teyo hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, Soitué's goal looked a bit too open when Hugó Baróti came free, but Esteve Figueroa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 80 minutes of play, Avellaneda FC's Enrique Perez made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Esteve Figueroa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Esteve Figueroa came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Avellaneda FC's Hugó Baróti. But to his dismay, Hugó Baróti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Panos Mendrinos in the 88th minute of play forced Soitué's goalkeeper Esteve Figueroa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esteve Figueroa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jano Alagoano in the 89th minute of the match. Hugó Baróti struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Esteve Figueroa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Avellaneda FC. Hugó Baróti's late challenge caught a Soitué's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugó Baróti helped the player get up and apologised. Hugó Baróti kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Avellaneda FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
