They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leo Enekoitz was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Lisandro Nardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a left leg Esteve Figueroa saved Soitué from getting behind. Amadeo Laffitte's late challenge caught a Club Olimpo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amadeo Laffitte helped the player get up and apologised. When Ezequiel Criston came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Soitué fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ezequiel Criston couldn't finish the play. In the 77thth minute of the game Ezequiel Criston who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Olimpo's Bernardino Rocendo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ezequiel Criston sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 83 minutes into the game, Isidro Rufio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Olimpo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Soitué the free kick. In the 83rd match minute, Club Olimpo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidro Rufio to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Ulises Ondino put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Bernardino Rocendo. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Club Olimpo walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
