Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cornelio Maju started the match with the kick off. Esteve Figueroa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelio Maju, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th minute, Amadeo Laffitte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Real Bañil CF's Enrique Tauro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 7th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Soitué. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Soitué! If Cornelio Maju had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Esteve Figueroa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelio Maju, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esteban Manuelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Ondino in the 26th minute of the match. Ulises Ondino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Esteban Manuelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esteban Manuelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Criston, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cornelio Maju in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esteve Figueroa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 43 played minutes Soitué got a freekick which was hit by Amadeo Laffitte. After 46 minutes of play, Real Bañil CF's Baltasar Jaunzuria made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Esteve Figueroa was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ezequiel Criston stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eduardo Tab charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eduardo Tab the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eduardo Tab hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Cornelio Maju sped through Soitué's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Esteve Figueroa. Baltasar Jaunzuria struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Esteve Figueroa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Bañil CF. Soitué's Esteve Figueroa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelio Maju in the 73rd minute of play. Esteve Figueroa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelio Maju, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Cornelio Maju fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Figueroa having to interfere. In the 91st minute Cornelio Maju shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Figueroa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Baltasar Jaunzuria came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Real Bañil CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baltasar Jaunzuria couldn't finish the play. If Baltasar Jaunzuria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Cornelio Maju managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Bañil CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Cornelio Maju was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esteve Figueroa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee ended the match the Real Bañil CF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
