After having played for 21 minutes, Ladislao Abajas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rocky de Vélez's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ladislao Abajas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Orzaize in the 23rd minute of play forced Rocky de Vélez's goalkeeper Arsenio Urtsin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rocky de Vélez! The referee gave Caroya FC a penalty, 26 minutes into the game. Filiberto Kismi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bonifacio Cayo having to make a save. Ladislao Abajas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bonifacio Cayo having to interfere. Gustavo Orzaize fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arsenio Urtsin having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gustavo Orzaize stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arsenio Urtsin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustavo Orzaize's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Felipe Federigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ladislao Abajas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bonifacio Cayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Abajas in the 60th minute of play. Rocky de Vélez's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Gustavo Orzaize scored to the left of an out of position Arsenio Urtsin, making the score, 0-3. Romeo Transito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustavo Orzaize struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Arsenio Urtsin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caroya FC. Arsenio Urtsin made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Romeo Transito sent off a good shot on target. Caroya FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
