Caroya FC's Bonifacio Cayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Donio in the 24th minute of play. Gustavo Mitxel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Omar Donio made a kick off. A collision led to ISRAEL getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Gustavo Mitxel hit a great ball. In the 55th minute Omar Donio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bonifacio Cayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romeo Transito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ignacio Vistruario read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Omar Donio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. 92 minutes into the match, ISRAEL's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Orzaize came free, but Ignacio Vistruario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ISRAEL played a much better game than Caroya FC and deserved their victory. The Caroya FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
