The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Luisito Pes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. Feliberto Qwinton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. TigreFC's Leo Walme got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Feliberto Qwinton managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when TigreFC's Leo Walme fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Talleres de Cordoba's zone, Reynaldo Arias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliberto Qwinton came out of the goal and Reynaldo Arias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Luisito Pes fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TigreFC's protests and gave Luisito Pes a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Talleres de Cordoba booed when TigreFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisito Pes didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Leo Walme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leo Walme got free with Feliberto Qwinton in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leo Walme in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Feliberto Qwinton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Leo Walme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Feliberto Qwinton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reynaldo Arias in the 32nd minute. In the 35th minute, TigreFC's Gregorio Orain dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Leo Walme kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Remigio Bidari to strike the kick off in the second half. Godfredo Jayvier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remigio Bidari, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Godfredo Jayvier made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Aquiles Balasi sent off a good shot on target. 55 minutes into the match, TigreFC's goal looked a bit too open when Remigio Bidari came free, but Godfredo Jayvier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilberto Florian took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Feliberto Qwinton. Talleres de Cordoba's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 65thth minute of the game Leo Walme who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Talleres de Cordoba's Feliberto Qwinton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Reynaldo Arias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leo Walme in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Feliberto Qwinton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leo Walme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliberto Qwinton having to interfere. Gregorio Orain struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Feliberto Qwinton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TigreFC. After a rather tough play, Talleres de Cordoba's Geronimo Victoro got a free kick in the 85th minute. The audience was convinced that Leo Walme's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Feliberto Qwinton was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Godfredo Jayvier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remigio Bidari in the 88th minute of the match. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
