If Eustaquio Lastur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hilario Rodriguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvano Estefan in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute of the match, Silvano Estefan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hilario Rodriguez was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 11 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lucila! Primitivo Macias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Hilario Rodriguez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hilario Rodriguez came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Rock and Gol's Silvano Estefan. But to his dismay, Silvano Estefan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. When Rock and Gol's Primitivo Macias in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lucila's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Lucila getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Arnoldo Arnalt hit a great ball. The long shot by Benedicto Afonso in the 28th minute really tested Hilario Rodriguez's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Silvano Estefan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Hilario Rodriguez made a huge save. After 38 minutes, Silvano Estefan made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Lucila's Hilario Rodriguez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Hilario Rodriguez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Macias, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Silvano Estefan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Hilario Rodriguez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Laureano Montae to strike the kick off in the second half. Primitivo Macias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Hilario Rodriguez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Primitivo Macias in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hilario Rodriguez saved Lucila from getting behind. Lucila's Hilario Rodriguez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primitivo Macias in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute of the match, Efrain Etor tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcelo Abascal saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Eustaquio Lastur came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Rock and Gol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eustaquio Lastur couldn't finish the play. Silvano Estefan succeeded in the game's 60th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-0. In the 63rd minute Silvano Estefan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Rodriguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvano Estefan in the 67th minute of play forced Lucila's goalkeeper Hilario Rodriguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 68 played minutes, Rock and Gol's Amancio Gai shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hilario Rodriguez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rock and Gol reached it. Marcelo Larra came free with the goalkeeper in the 70th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marcelo Abascal could save by the left post. Hilario Rodriguez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvano Estefan in the 73rd minute of the match. Primitivo Macias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rock and Gol's Primitivo Macias got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Rock and Gol booed when Lucila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Berdaitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Primitivo Macias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Hilario Rodriguez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute Amancio Gai suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. Rock and Gol made a substitution. Jonathan Gai replaced Amancio Gai. There was no doubt that Rock and Gol were the better team. Rock and Gol's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
