Salvador Tabby made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 20th minute Valentin Kaxen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Peruxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Valentin Kaxen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Braulio Peruxu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Adrio in the 25th minute of the match. Fernan Rudolfo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Salvador Tabby came out of the goal and Fernan Rudolfo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Profundidad AFC's Braulio Peruxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Adrio in the 45th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Fernan Rudolfo made the kick off in the second half. If Augusto Adrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Braulio Peruxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Adrio, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Santos Fernendo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Tabby having to interfere.
